At Feldhof in Scena, you will enjoy peace and quiet with a wonderful view of Merano, while still being right in the heart of the winter experience at Merano 2000 or at the Christmas market in the town of Merano in no time at all.
The valley station of the Merano 2000 cable car is just about a 5-minute drive from our accommodation. From there, it takes only 7 minutes by gondola to reach the ski slopes.
During the winter months, we exclusively open our apartments for anyone who loves the freedom of an undisturbed self-catering holiday. While the bistro and bar take a winter break, we pamper you in the morning with a very special highlight: Our lovingly prepared breakfast tower is delivered directly to your apartment door.
From November 26, 2026, to January 10, 2027, we open our apartments and look forward to welcoming you to our home during the cold season as well.
Around Christmas and New Year, however, there are a few special features: No arrivals are possible on December 24 and 25 or on January 1. Furthermore, no breakfast is served on December 25 and January 1.These days are entirely reserved for our family. We therefore ask for your understanding that we would like to step back a little on these special days and enjoy our family life.

Snowshoe hiking
25 km of snow-covered winter hiking trails and numerous routes for all skill levels. Away from the ski slopes, the mountain world surrounding Merano 2000 can be explored on foot and with snowshoes.
Tobogganing
A 3 km long natural toboggan run, fast descents, and sledding fun for the whole family. Fun for all ages.
Alpin Bob
Tobogganing fun on rails, speeds up to 40 km/h, and 12 steep curves. The Alpin Bob delivers action on the year-round toboggan run. Directly on the mountain and accessible even without skis.
Christmas Market in Merano
from late November to January 6th
When the Advent season begins in Merano, the spa town transforms into a magical Christmas world. Along the Passer River, lovingly decorated stalls invite you to stroll, marvel, and enjoy. Handcrafted gift ideas, regional delicacies, and the aroma of Christmas baking create a special festive atmosphere.

The most important information for your winter holiday in Scena near Merano
- Für eure Skier und Skischuhe gibt’s bei uns genügend Platz. Im geräumigen Skikeller könnt ihr eure Ausrüstung bequem abstellen und die Skischuhe in Ruhe trocknen lassen. Am nächsten Morgen ist alles wieder bereit für die nächste Runde auf der Piste.
- In winter, our bar turns into a cozy Honesty Bar. We provide a selection of drinks for you. Simply help yourself to whatever you feel like and note it down easily on our list. Along with good music and, of course, a comfortable spot at the bar, feel free to make yourself at home, drop by for a drink, and wind down the day in a relaxed setting.
- Our bistro takes a break in winter. However, evening drinks are still taken care of: Our Honesty Bar is open to you, and you are welcome to make yourself comfortable in the bar area.
- Our outdoor pool remains closed during the winter. We deliberately do not heat it during the cold months to save energy and treat our resources mindfully. As soon as spring arrives and temperatures rise again, the pool will naturally be at your disposal once more.
